The Elegant Ostrich's Garden

Ominously, the storm threatens.
Plinkets of
rain drops
fall repeatedly.
Clouds darken,
while covering a
great Light of beauty
and warmth. All creatures fearfully retreat for shelter.
Thundering and Lightning drum a beat:
"Boom-Boom"
But wait...

Just then...
Suddenly, a parting
of the clouds
takes place
and behold...

Enter the Paradise of
this elegant, large,
golden,
winged beauty
who does not fly.
She just cooly steps amongst
all the flowers
dressed to honor
the rays
of the sun
and creator above,
in her
Dainty Bird Land

[IMAGE]

The eagle overhead
soars aloft
on a level parallel
to the
whispering
clouds on high,
out of reach
of the Ostrich's
lush green abode just below

A Humming bird flitters steadfastly
dipping in the nearest
nectar-laden
flower
while gracefully
watching the tiny
pixie-nanny
attending her
row of dew drop blooms

A little Cherub sits
amists the garden floor,
kissing flower seeds
before blowing them
to the refined
fertile soil

[IMAGE]

There may be a smile in the grass that absobs a
feline stripe or two,
blinking in and
out of view

[IMAGE]

The phospherous glimmer
from a set of
quadrant
turquoised triangles,
pauses, pulsing
for a
preening moment
atop
the sleek back
of a
Butterfly
in
The Elegant Ostrich's Garden

You
ask,
"WHY?"

[IMAGE]

With all this beauty
set before all eyes,
creatures of all sizes
must always
realize
the delicate nature
of an Elegant Garden
such as this.
So much must be
observed
to preserve
those who dwell
peacefully
here.

Step gingerly,and remember to look underfoot and:

Little things
now
for one day
you may
look back
and realize
that they
were the
BIG things"

Clouds and Rainbows do Collide...

Life's blinding, cataclysmic clouds
mask the splendor and elation
of a Rainbow's gratifying appearance.
In finding the right guidance,
gratitude comes to stay and opens
a path that brings us to that Rainbow...
The prism's colors were there all along,
just waiting for the right person
and happening
to position it into view

"A bolt leaps from the top of the storm to the ground. Considering the height of the storm the bolt made a 50,000 foot long hop to it's destination. Note the change in the color of the bolt from white to orange as it neared the ground. This change in color was due to dust in the atmosphere near the ground. The shot was taken near Purcell, Oklahoma."
