The Soul's Journey to the afterlife
passes thru this
Great Light
of God's Love
Somewhere in Heaven's Time we shall meet again
For you, a Peaceful Journey, my beloved
~~~~~Peace~~~~~
God saw you were getting tired
And your cure was not meant to be
So He wrapped His loving arms
around you and whispered,
"________, ...Come unto Me"
A golden heart stopped beating
Adoring eyes went to rest
It broke our hearts, but
in God's mercy:
With Peace, you were blessed -author unknown
The Measure of a Soul
Not "How did he/she die?"
But "How did he/she live?"
Not "What did he/she gain?"
But "What did he/she give?"
Not "What was his/her station?"
But was he/she filled with a good soul and heart?"
And
"How did he/she play his/her God-given part?
Not "What was his/her shrine?
Nor "What was his/her Creed?"
But
"Had he/she befriended those really in need?"
Not "What did the piece in the newspaper say?"
But "How many were sorry when he/she passed away?"
Was he/she ever ready with a word or good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
These are the units to Measure the Worth
Of a Man/Woman as a Soul, regardless of birth.
Just as these powerful waters continue to flow, so shall our love...
With every great living love
taken from us, with whom we shared our
life's conscious living, in pictorial and emotional "time-frames,"
it leaves us with a big wound.
Therefore, we must learn to bestow
our wish from us for them to take on their new life,
on their journey unto the
Great Beyond.
---A wish that the Almighty's
accepting arms
will enfold, and cherish their soul.
This "Letting Go" gives that soul the freedom
to soar. I see now that our NOT releasing them from our grief stricken "boundaries,"
keeps that soul stuck here. However sorrowful, we gain the comfort that
he/she will joyfully be kept alive in our hearts.
Give yourself permission to grieve for as long as it takes.
You are not alone...You will feel it a breeze; see it in
a rainbow, or in an ocean's wave. By all means possible, you will know...they are with you still with a nod in some way
I hope this site offers you
some consoling words
and visions
for your heart,
and in a way, bring a bittersweet smile,
... a sense that
it's not really saying goodbye.
Instead, let it be an offering
of a promise
from you
to embrace the spirit
of that person
within your own
mind and soul, forever.
