"Someday"
By Diana Louise Player
New moon invokes two lonely hearts,
brilliance lights the sky.
Witnessing the splendor, months pass,
the light wanes by.
Great starry world of blackness,
you glitter while some cry.
Phases of a lifetime,
so softly do we sigh.
Miracles surround us,
we travel on our way.
The hidden moon will shine again,
a love renewed someday.
