Story

Bowser has kidnapped the Princess Toadstool and is holding her hostage in
Mushroom Palace. During his attack he has also stolen the Power Stars which
protect the castle, and hidden them in the paintings throughout the Palace. These
paintings are the portals to the Mushroom Kingdom's vast worlds, and if Mario
doesn't recover the stars within the monsters, the monsters will gain control of the Kingdom.

There are 120 stars and 15 courses main courses (levels) in Mario 64. There are
6 stars hidden in each course and an additional star is obtained when Mario
