Victorious Overcomers Support Group Substance Abuse Ministry is a
Seven Victory Step, discipleship support group that is 100% Word based,
and Christ centered.
This ministry was given to Pastor Anthony Buonfiglio in 1988 by the Holy
Spirit. Pastor Anthony himself was instantly delivered from a life of
addiction to drugs and alcohol, as well as a life of crime that spanned
over 28 years of his life. He experienced this deliverance in 1977. He began pastoring Pillars of Faith Tabernacle, a non-denominational, full gospel church in 1982. His testimony has been seen on the 700 Club many times!

Since 1988, we have seen many people set free from all kinds of
addictions and compulsions, not just drugs, including alcohol and
nicotine, but strongholds such as fear, anxiety, depression, eating
disorders, pornography, and homosexuality!

In our location here in New York City, the success rate is 96%. The
reason for this success is this, we are not a Recovery Program, but a
structured Discipleship Program thats focus is upon the "New Creation",
not the old, fallen nature of man.

The Holy Spirit put this whole curriculum into a 5 part Leaders Training
Manual. This ministry will work in any Christian denominational church.
It will also work well in an "in house" rehabilitation center, a halfway
house, prison, homeless mission, or as is, an outreach ministry from a local church.

This ministry is not just a tool for pastors to reach the lost, but it
is also a tool to bring Unity of the Spirit to the body of Christ. We
are an international network of over 30 ministries working together, no
matter what our doctrinal differences may be, to reach this lost, bound,
