Danielle Cormack is best known in the United States as "Ephiny" the Amazon in the television series XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS. She most recently appeared as Ephiny in the sixth season XENA episode LAST OF THE CENTAURS, to be first aired during the week of 6 May in the USA. You can see clips of the unsold pilot AMAZON HIGH that she was in as "Samsara" by watching the fifth season XENA episode LIFEBLOOD. She appeared in the fourth season XENA episode ENDGAME and in the fifth season HERCULES episode SKY HIGH. Danielle has also appeared in a brief scene as Ephiny in a fourth season episode of HERCULES: THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS (PRODIGAL SISTER), and has appeared on that show as another character, Lady Marie/The Chartreuse Fox in LES CONTEMPTIBLES. She was also in the third season XENA episode THE BITTER SUITE. Going farther back, her debut XENA episode was HOOVES AND HARLOTS, and she appeared subsequently in the episodes IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE, THE QUEST, and A NECESSARY EVIL.

As of this update, Danielle has filmed three episodes of the new Pacific Renaissance project CLEOPATRA 2525, in which she plays Raina, a baddie who can read minds. She also appeared as Catherine the Great in an episode of JACK OF ALL TRADES. Danielle has gone to Cannes in the year 2000, having taken other films there in previous years to critical acclaim.

Danielle Cormack has appeared in numerous other TV venues including the New Zealand television programmes GLOSS, HIGH TIDE, and SHORTLAND STREET.

Her latest released feature film is called THE PRICE OF MILK, and begins its debut in the USA in New York City, February, 2001. It is a romantic drama and is written and directed by Harry Sinclair. See below for more info.

Mid-April 1998 marked the beginning of work on a new film with Kevin Smith called "Channeling Baby". This is a period love story spanning the 1970's, 80's, and 90's. Danielle plays a character who loses her sight. The film was released in 1999/2000.

Another released project is a film she made in Australia called SIAM SUNSET, which was received with great acclaim at Cannes in 1999 and was subsequently released with complimentary reviews.

What began as a "between jobs" project ended up as a motion picture that received critical acclaim in New Zealand and at the 1997 Cannes film festival -- the motion picture TOPLESS WOMEN TALK ABOUT THEIR LIVES.

In 1998 Danielle finished a feature film with Karl Urban called "Via Satellite" which will be going to Cannes in May 1999 (Danielle plays twins). Danielle also went to Cannes with CHANNELING BABY (see below for more info) as well as SIAM SUNSET.
