Paws in the Park .....

held 3-13-99 at the University of North Florida

next one to be held 3-11-2000

Many rescues were on hand as well; I didn't get a chance to get everyone's picture,

but below I will list all that participated.

Bacca, who will be attending the Newf Nationals in Maryland.

John Ferrar, the educational director for the Animal Care & Control.

Some alarming statistics.....

In 1998, Jacksonville Humane Society received 14,920 pets. Only 3,415 were adopted. This means that 10,840 were euthanized !!!!

This is why spaying and neutering and adopting from a shelter or breed rescue is so very important. Please help these numbers be lower next year !!!
