TRIPPER!



Tripper was a Great Dane I adopted as an 8 month old deaf "puppy" in October of 1997. He died in August of 1998, and I decided the big oaf needed a page of his own as a sort of tribute. I have shared his story with many of you, and it feels as if you almost know him and I'm sure you do through the love and honor that it is to share your life with that of a Dane. Golden Memories

They say memories are golden, well, maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place no one else could fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane.
I'd walk the path to Heaven and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us back one by one, the chain will link again.
