The early story of Depeche Mode rather makes them fanstatic. Members, David Gahan, Martin Gore, Andrew Fletcher, and ex-member Alan Wilder share a moment of history. Vince Clarke, an ex-member, currently now with Erasure started the band with Speak and Spell. Vince had left and Martin Gore took the writing position. With songs like ''See You'', ''The Meaning of Love'', and ''Leave In Silence'', it was known that the Mode were starting their career.

''The Singles 86>98'' had a big impact on all of us fans. Even with the successful tour! For new fans, it's the beginning of a glorious story. Depeche have proven to us that their strong in their music, on their lives, and the life creating a song. We look forward to 2001 to continue a year in their ''fast fashion''. |
