Essay Not all of the reptiles living in the Mesozoic Era were dinosaurs. The pterosaurs were a diverse group of flying reptiles found all over the earth during the reign of the dinosaurs. Pteranodon was a large pterosaur with a wingspan well over twenty feet. The fur which covered some pterosaurs indicates they may have been warm-blooded, a trait shared by birds and mammals. |
