Welcome to Doncaster Royal Infirmary Pathology Department.

The pathology service exists on two sites, the main laboratory is located on the Doncaster Royal Infirmary site and there is a small laboratory on the Montagu Hospital site.

This page gives access details to enable you to reach the department or send samples to us. Please note that pathological specimens must be packaged according to the current Post Office Regulations.

The full postal address of the hospital follows. Please mark packages 'Pathology Laboratories' or include the name of the department to which you wish the package directed.

If you are visiting the department, Please enter the Hospital via either the main entrance or via the Casualty entrance. In either case, follow the notices for 'Blood tests' these will lead you to our phlebotomy area. The entry to the department is via the door marked 'Blood samples' next to the blood test area. This is also where you bring samples to.
