DrT
Q&A with Dr. Gary Telgenhoff

Ever wonder who supplies some of the forensic details which bring back viewers week after week to watch CSI?

Dr. Gary Telgenhoff is a real-life medical examiner whose expertise is used by the creative minds who pen the scripts for CSI. Also known as "DrT" on the CSI set, he consults 2-3 times a week via e-mail or phone to the creative crew who write the scripts. He's also a musician in his own right, and one of his songs was featured on an epsiode of CSI.

DrT graciously agreed to do an interview for this site, which grew into the massive Q&A (Question & Answer) session you'll find on the links below. You can also read a fascinating biography, in his own words, of how he entered this fascinating field of medicine, and connected to the people at CSI.

Special thanks to DrT for agreeing to this interview, and for supplying photographs he took while on a visit to the CSI set. Don't forget to visit his site - www.skinnerrat.com for more information!

Enjoy!
