EDNA WAGNER PIERSOL, past president of the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society and the Southern Watercolor Society ... has been listed in the World Who's Who of Women since the late 1960's She is a Member-at-Large of the National League of American Pen Women in both Arts & Letters. She has created and taught watercolor painting for over 30 years. She is available as juror for national and large regional exhibits. and available for workshops in aquarelle technique and experimental water media.

Edna Wagner Piersol paints mostly in water media. She is fascinated by the effects possible on thin papers such as ordinary tissue paper and rice paper.

Many of her portraits are done on tissue paper and then collaged onto paper or canvas. Some are coated with wax after mounting. This technique produces and almost lifelike a glowing color range.
