Hi, my name is Ken and welcome to EarthForum's Interactive Editorial Page !
EarthForum utilizes the power of the Internet to provide you, me, and ALL of us with the ability to participate in ongoing and intelligent discussions and debates on a wide range of political and socioeconomic issues - and an opportunity to tell the world what you're thinking! You will quickly note that my views on EarthForum are decidedly Liberal, but the purpose of EarthForum is not to promote any singular ideology, but rather to encourage the honest exchange of ideas. It is my firm belief that no one ideology has a monopoly on truth and that we can all learn from one another - if we listen.
So, I hope you choose to browse through EarthForum and feel free to use it's interactive forums, which now includes a message board where you may share your ideas with other visitors here on this year's Presidential election, and a separate message board where you can rant and rave about any particular issues that really tick you off.
There aren't many rules on EarthForum, but one that is strictly enforced is that personal attacks on other contributors to this site are not allowed, and those who do not abide by this simple rule will have their postings removed. It's ok to attack ideas - but let's try not to attack each other :)
This is the Seventh Edition of EarthForum. I have had it offline for awhile doing maintenance on the site and adding some features, and so there are not many postings at the moment. But, don't be afraid to jump right in and start a discussion on any of EarthForum's interactive venues. And I would appreciate if you would tell your friends about EarthForum if you think they would enjoy participating. It's easy to participate.
