Founded dance troupe of 30 adults and 50 children in Oxnard and Santa Barbara, CA. Currently serve as director, choreographer, costume designer and performer. The group's performances include "Navidad en Mexico," an annual showcase sponsored by the Lobero Theater in Santa Barbara; half-time show for 1997 Mexican Independence Day Celebration during Galaxy Team game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena; 1986 Inner City Olympics in Los Angeles, at the invitation of Arnold Schwarzenegger; community programs televised by stations in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Oxnard, Ventura and San Luis Obispo; and charitable and educational community events. The group is preparing for a 1998 European tour opening in Romania during its national Mexican Week Celebration.

founded state-wide organization to promote unity and quality among Mexican folklorico dance groups. Currently serve as board member, director and choreographer for group which practices and performs in different cities in California to recruit and involve members throughout the state. Danzantes Unidos auditioned for the 1996 San Francisco Ethnic Festival and has also performed in Arizona.

Direct week-long dance workshop: select instructors, develop promotional materials, prepare class materials for instructors and registrants, coordinate registration, classes, accomodations, group activities and show.

Founded and directed dance troupe in Oxnard, CA. Served as choreographer, costume designer and performer. Performances included Ventura College, Ventura County Fair, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, concerts at Oxnard Civic Auditorium, Santa Barbara Old Spanish Days, Casa del Mexicano in Santa Paula, Palacio Azteca, Los Angeles, Disneyland, Channel 12, Cable TV Channel 40, Channel 3, Channel 34, and various local charitable and fund-raising events.

Independent Artist - Toured midwestern United States. Introduced Mexican culture. performing solo dances and songs.

1974- Studied with Official State Representative Dance Troupe, Zacatecas, Mexico - concentrating on repertory, choreography, and costuming; performed throughout Mexico.

1976- Los Angeles, CA Studied dance technique, repertory, music, costuming and choreography. Was chosen to perform as soloist for closing ceremony performance.
