Welcome To My Home Hostel
The Emily Boone Home Hostel is located at 102 Pope Street in the Clifton neighborhood two miles from downtown Louisville and the Galt House Hotel. The Home Hostel has a separate entrance from my residence and office which are in the same building. There are three bus routes #19, #15, and #31, (all go downtown) within two blocks. The hostel is about four miles from the University Of Louisville, three miles from the Greyhound Bus Terminal, six miles from the airport and Kentucky Fairgrounds and Exposition Center and four miles from the Falls of the Ohio. Mammoth Cave is about a two hour drive. Since the energy crisis of 1972, in the winter I keep the temperature of the building at 55 degrees Fahrenheit in the day time and 53 degrees Fahrenheit in the evening. Sitting and Sleeping Area
My home hostel has a futon couch bed and two rollout foam futons in a common room in the walkout basement.
