PROF. PHILIP HARTER QUOTED ABOUT CONGRESSIONAL TESTIMONY

Prof. Philip J. Harter was quoted in an article entitled, “Congress May Restore Bellwether ADR Agency,” which appeared at 22 Alternatives to the High Cost of Litigation 136 (September 2004).  Harter, who had served as a conference senior staff attorney of the now-defunct Administrative Conference of the United States, testified in Congress last summer about a bill to re-authorize the agency.

 

PINGPING ZHANG PASSES NEW YORK BAR

Pingping Zhang (’01) passed the New York bar exam.  She is working in Washington, DC for Deloitte Tax LLC.  Congratulations Pingping!

 

LOWELL PEARSON WINS AWARD

LL.M. student, Lowell Pearson, received the ACR/ABA James Boskey award in the graduate student category for his paper, “The Case for Non-Party Discovery Under the Federal Arbitration Act”. AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION PROGRAM
