Progress

21st September 2003
Things have ground to a halt at the moment: I've had other things I've needed to do and have't had much time to spend on the project and the new version of RouteBuilder isn't exporting the route as well as the old version. Keep checking back though for more updates!

10th August 2003
Most of Chester station is complete, just vegetation and the background ojects need doing. Photos of the main structures between Chester and Roodee Junction have been taken. The bulk of Windmill Lane tunnel is complete as are the Raytheon buildings at Hawarden.


5th August 2003
Shotton station still needs a few more trees and houses in the background.
Construction of Chester station has begun. Platforms, signals and Hoole Bridge have been constructed (see screenshot on main page).

29th July 2003
Shotton station complete except for fences and the footbridge.
The railway bridge has been raised to something nearer proper height.

27th July 2003
The track has all been laid in RouteBuilder although it hasn't been checked or fine tuned.
Shotton bridge is complete, but it is too low and will need raising.
Shotton station is coming on nicely, only the trees/scenery need to be added.
