Rev. Lisa Lait, Director of Children and Youth Ministries

A particular focus of FBC is its commitment to the spiritual development of the entire family. To that end, we provide several opportunities for children and youth to learn God's word and grow in their Christian walk.

One primary ministry in accomplishing this goal is our AWANA program. AWANA meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 during the school year for pre-schoolers through 6th grade. This Bible-based program seeks to establish young people on a firm Biblical foundation which will provide direction for their daily lives.

In addition, we offer a Junior High activity that meets from 6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday evenings year-round.

On Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30, we offer Sunday School classes for all ages. Infant and toddler care is available for both Sunday School and the morning Worship Service.

We also have a "Junior Church" for lower elementary school-aged children during the morning Worship Service. Child care is also provided during our evening Fellowship.

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6
