Scope Reticules Images and How I use multi-aim point Reticules

Images taken Through my FT scope Tasco 10-50x56mm with a digital camera
Weather overcast and dull

Mil dot reticule  at 10x Magnification
Target 40mm Dia at 30 yards

Mil dot reticule  at 50x Magnification
Target 40mm Dia at 30 yards

(scope image is better than picture Quality shown)

The Mil Dot Reticule in the Tasco Custom Shop ( the lines either side of the cross hair are not part of the Reticule)
The left is for shooting at the full 50magnification and is what I use for FT Comp the scope is zeroed at 25 yards on the top post  which is my highest aim point. The rest of the settings are found by shooting at the different ranges and noting  the fall relative to the dots  this done I can check or re-zero at any range using the relevant dot.

The right is for shooting on Minimum 10magnification  with the same zero as the 50mag . Notice the 5 spaces (main crosshair to top post)  used at 50 mag are now  fitting in one space, this is relative to the 5x decrease in magnification  (it also works for other mags  i.e. 20x =2 dots    30x=3 dots  etc).

I normally only use Max or Min magnification  for Ft and Hunting
