This is a sport I am hoping to get into. Using full bore rifles on different ranges 100-1000yrds in differing positions (ie prone, kneeling, Standing and even weak hand ) Most courses are shot against the clock some involve moving before and after fire.
These are a few pictures from a practice session at Bisley on Century Range at 300yrds and 600yrds
Me with a loaned Southern Gun Company M16 in 5.56mm and a Nikko sterling 10mag sniper scope at the 600yrds point. I am shooting a service rifle comp consisting of 10 shots. Starting with the magazine fitted to the gun and in the standing position you have to wait till the target comes up ( clock starts ) get into the prone position and shoot 10 rounds in 60seconds. Bull's-eye is approx 3" and scores 5points ( I managed 28 ex 50 with 9 shots as one misfired. @300yrds 36 ex 50 with 9 shots again one Misfired , Dave is gonna have to sort his hand loads out )

In the lanes next door on the 600yrds point where some guys who would laugh at Dirty Harry's claim of the most powerful pistol in the world.
