well, why not?  it's free and if you don't like it you can always unsubscribe.  it's a very nice list, friendly, informative, and always chockful of natalie stuff.

...are the benefits?...

...do i subscribe?...

to subscribe to the list
, send an email to FHChildren-subscribe@onelist.com from the address you would like to subscribe under.  this will automatically set you to receive the loose mail version of the list (meaning you receive each post individually as they are sent to the list).  when list traffic is high you could start receiving over 30 emails daily.  since alot of people can't handle that, there is a digest version you can receive (where you get a compilation of posts to the list in one long email).  to subscribe to the digest version, you must already have emailed the address above.  once you have, you can switch your account to digest version if you wish.  to do this, send an email to FHChildren-digest@onelist.com.  to post to the list, send an email to FHChildren@onelist.com.  note: when you email that address your email is sent to all members of the list, so it should never be unsubscribe requests.  to unsubscribe, send an email to FHChildren-unsubscribe@onelist.com

...with techie stuff...

if you have any questions, direct them to TwinkleFHC@aol.com.  please DO NOT email that address to subscribe!  your email will be ignored!

...of the mailing list...

there aren't too many rules, but the rules i have laid out for listers should be followed and taken seriously.  first, no prolonged off-topic discussions.  second, share publically and flame privately- have respect for people on the list and if you strongly disagree with a certain individual, it's usually best to deal with them personally.  no one wants to read negative things.  this keeps the list a pleasant place.
