A couple of my customers won combat events at the Nats using FHS products.
Dennis Cranfill won 1/2A Open Combat using 40% RedMax.
Nick Mears won AMA Fast Combat, Jr. age group, using FHS 62-RM oil.

In 1998, at the Free Flight NATS, I was the AMA Gas National Champion. On Aug 30th I established a CAT III D Gas Free Flight Record of 25 maxes for a total of 60 min. On Sept 19 I established a CAT III 1/2A Gas Free Flight Record of 29 min and 49 sec, just short of 13 maxes.

I use Red Max fuel exclusively and have always had reliable, top performance from my high speed engines.

If you still recognize outstanding achievements with complimentary fuel, please send some of your 50% Nitro with 20% Red Max synthetic oil.

Good Afternoon,

We had a fun Nats with the new VA .049 MkII that I am importing winning 1st through 4th in Open 1/2A combat and 1st in Jr 1/2A combat.

I used the RedMax 50% in in the winning Open class model and Skyler Skelly used 30% RedMax in Jr. Bob and Andy Mears won 3rd and 4th in Open 1/2A with FHS oil.

Thanks for the calls on the Flying Models article. Here are the winners from 1/2A Combat at the 1997 AMA Nats.
1st - Bob Mears
2nd - Larry Driskill
3rd - Andy Mears

We all used the same equipment setup:
LiteHawk Version 4.62 models
AME .049 engines
30% nitro fuel with 20% FHS 62RM oil (Bob and Andy used 16% oil part of the time)

Note that we were using your oil, but the fuel was homebrew. The engines were turning about 30,000 RPM on the ground. One engine was turning 32,700 the night before the event, but we did not use it in the contest. In spite of the rather harsh use, we had no engine failures.

Also, Bob Mears won Fast combat and Andy Mears won Slow with 30% nitro, 16% FHS 62RM, and 1% castor.
