Dear Red Max Family -

Thank you again for the outstanding performance this season! The Red Max all synthetic Helicopter fuels helped bring home the IRCHA 1st place and new World Record this year in the Verticle Drag races.

My special hand built SX61 / AAC / Brett's Heli & Engine Service OS61 survived & won due to the excellent protection & performance from the fuels. Helicopter engines do not ususally turn 22,000+ RPM. Mine does, & it survived the whole contest season on one piston & liner, which is outstanding!

Glow plugs last for about one gallon with the highest nitros after the engine has been broken in, which is also excellent!

RM all synth. fuels used by myself this year: 15% Heli "3D" Blend, 30% "FAI Competition", & the 40% "Heli Dragster Special"!!!

Verticle Standing Start 400ft Drag Race won in 7.65 seconds by Bruce Bennett, IRCHA Helicopter World Internation Event @ R/C Aviation Country Club, August 5th - 9th, 1998, Hebron, Ohio.

Eqp: Helis Unlimited International 10.5 Lbs stock Futura SE with 10.6:1 main drive ratio, Performance Specialties Engine products, Brett's R/C Heli & Engine Service OS-WR AAC Dragster Special powerplant. Ohhhh, do I love this thing!!! So fast!

Thank you for the excellent fuels. Your 100% synthetic 30% nitro heli blend took me to two 1st place wins in the .61 sized top speed and time to climb events. The engine went through practice runs on Friday and Finals on Saturday without even a glow plug change.

I passed out a few quarts from my stock of 30% Heli to those who were seriously interested in trying the fuel. I also advised potential customers of proper engine set-up with the fuel.

As the IRCHA / Heli-Internats events qualify as world record holders, in 1998 I will be attempting to break the present world speed record & become the first to pilot a helicopter over 100 MPH. The present world record, set in 1995, is 91.7 MPH for the two-way average.

The details:
Event: 1997 IRCHA / Heli-Internationals World Fun Fly. The world's largest helicopter event, over 350+ registered pilots and 1000+ model helicopters.
Categories Won: 10cc Top Speed Run, and 10cc Time-to-Climb. 87.8 MPH top speed & 10.0 Sec/400 Ft. climb.
Pilot / Chief Engr: Bruce Bennett
Fuel: Red Max 30% Nitro Heli Blend, all synthetic.
Engine: Performance Specialties / Bennett OS61SX.
Helicopter: Precision Helicopters "Super Legend", pod-n-boom. I.E. - I beat all the fuselage guys that normally win the speed run, and beat the current owner of the world record.
