FHS Red Max R/C Fuel Prices 2008 |
Red Max fuels have won numerous awards in every kind of model sport over the years. We pride ourselves on making fuel
that consistently gives superior power, performance, and protection.
Our top goal at FHS is customer satisfaction.
Red Max Premium/Racing: Easy for beginners and powerful for experts. Trophy winner for planes, boats, cars, and
helicopters.
Red Max 4-cycle: Eliminates detonation and kickback in 4-cycle engines, smoother idle, and more power. Old and new types
available.
Red Max Boat: Extra rust-inhibitor for water exposure, oil designed for high nitro percentages.
Red Max Car: High Igniter and low oil content for better throttle acceleration on off-road tracks.
Red Max Ducted Fan: Lite weight oil with high content for high rpm, extra cooling, and better throttle response and
smoke trail.
Red Max Helicopter: Extremely smooth running, extra defoamer, dark color, special oil for the best heli performance.
Red Max Pattern/Performance: High flash-point heavy oil for heavy duty applications gives more consistent performance in
challenging conditions.
Red Max Pulse Jet: High Igniter and zero oil for the speed demons.
Red Max Diesel: Ball bearing, plain bearing, and generic types available.
All fuels types available with all synthetic or syn-cas blend.
Custom blends available for any model engine type: planes, boats, helicopters,
cars/trucks, speed, pattern, scale,
ignition, big supertigre, etc.

this is a long list, but it attempts to cover the majority of questions that we get
All fuel/oil components measured by volume only, not by weight! ex. 10% Nitro fuel has 12.8 fl.oz/gal (1 gal = 128 fl.oz)
Oil is 100% superior Red Max Synthetic unless specified otherwise, FHS recommends maximum of 2%Castor on Syn-Cas blends
FHS has a special heavy synthetic as a replacement for All-Castor blends, if desired
Prices are per gal for cases, per drum for drums, minimum order quantity=(1 gal or 4
qts)
**Freight & Handling & (if necessary) HazMat fees are additional for all
items**
Case types are as follows: (1-gal, 4-gal), (4-qt, 12-qt, 16-qt, 20-qt)
(16-) gal as qts ships by UPS ground in qt bottles; (12+) gal ships by motorfreight to commercial/non-residential address only
Since we are now doing qt cases, you can get up to 3 cases of 20qt via UPS to your house at the
12 gal prices
All UPS hazardous materials (model fuels, flammable components, etc.) ship by UPS Ground only, no Air shipments
As of 2003, we will only ship quarts of model fuel by UPS, no filled gallons
However, we can ship empty gallon jugs + child resistant lids along with your UPS order
As of 2005, freight is additional for all items - it is no longer included in
the listed prices - however, we have good freight rates with many shipping
companies, or you can check freight quote from your side and we will ship it
freight collect - model fuel is: truck class 65, origin zip 29710, hazmat
Special Orders: (Rush! orders, difficult custom blends, ignition fuel, high oil %, special oil, non-stock items, very mixed
cases, etc.)
add +$2.00/gal, Min $10, Min $20 if we make the truck wait on an order
Suggestion: Order model fuel/hazmat stuff in advance of need! (ie. before the big race) - it ships ground only!
Empty Blank Bottles: qt $1.00, gal $1.50 Child-resistant Lids: $0.45
Red Max Hats: $14.00, T-Shirts: $18.00
Red Max Stickers/Decals: No Charge, unless you want hundreds, then $0.50 each
Prices on Model Oils are ~ $40.00/gal + freight (either Castor or RedMax Synthetic 62RM *recommended*)
Use 0%RM for Pure Methanol Prices (premixed fuel is more economical)
Note that we do not normally recommend using castor in model fuels due to the low quality of castor currently available
It is best if drums are kept sealed until ready and then all fuel distributed at one time
After-run oils are not required - just run the engine out at the end of flying -
of course after-run oils don't hurt either...
Model Clubs may get a 10%Club Prepay Discount on orders of 24+gallons
