Back Pack Powered Parachutes

FLY Products is pleased to introduce the first 2 in 1 Motor Back Pack Powered Parachute. By swapping out the outer frame and prop you can transform the Parachute Motor from a medium size unit (Power 95) to a larger unit (Power 115) and now thee New (Power 130) for pilots up to 240 lbs.
All three units use the same engine and reduction gear, with less than a 10 minute attachment to either size frame and prop. The Engine is the easy starting Solo 210 with a performance muffler as standard configuration. The fuel tank is specifically designed for the FLY, and made of impact resistant plastic with an 8 liter or optional 12 liter capacity. With the 12 liter tank you can fly for over 4 hours without refueling.
The propellers are 2 or 4 blades, utilizing the latest noise reduction design technology that is quiet as a whisper or slightly less than your lawn mower.
The harness that comes standard is surprisingly comfortable full size Woody Valley that has optional reserve parachute pocket and quick release buckles.
The four piece frame is made of welded high strength aluminum with custom colors that are applied through a durable powder coating treatment.
The philosophy of FLY Products is to keep the weight down to less than 47 lbs therefore the performance/payload capacity is up. Options include a 12v Electric start, Noise reducer, Quick Release Buckles and reserve pockets on Harnesses, delux throttle with low fuel light, and Performance Muffler.
For pilots under 160 lbs, FLY has also introduced the Power 75 direct drive unit which weighs only 38lbs. This unit is of the smallest power units in the world that is powered by a solo 210 engine.
FLY is also introducing its newest motor to the product line in 1998. The Power K (Konig) This engine has 24 horse power (nine more than the Solo 210) at 320cc, unit weight empty is 55 lbs which makes it as light as the Solo. Has a standard 8 liter tank with capability of the 12 liter option. Max pilot weight of 250lbs is recommended, 115cm prop, 3 cylinder radial engine, with direct drive instead of a reduction.
Power Plus is the big boy motor. This unit is equiped with a Zanzottera 312cc motor. The best quality about this 28hp motor is that complete unit weight is only 69lbs and produces 155 lbs of thrust! Designed for tandem flying and larger pilot operations. This motor is quieter than it's ZR250 competitor because of it slower max RPM. With the electric start option it also has the capability of charging its battery in flight with its inflight electrical system. This is the only motor on the market today with this option.
Flying the FLY product line is a dream because they are one of the lightest units on the market; it is comfortable on the back before launching and weightless during flight.
The three wheeled Trike (single and tandem) is for those who rather take off and land on wheels than on their feet. It is a 20lb T shaped wheeled trike that bolts to the bottom of the frame for easy takeoffs and landings.

FLY products has just come out with a new option for all Power units. The Delux Throttle Option has the new feature of electric start on the throttle and a low fuel light that will illuminate when aproximately 1 liter of fuel is left in the tank.
