Overview:

The Marksman is a fairly new design intended for flanking maneuvers in relatively open terrain. It is one of the few Micro-Mechs that does not mount any anti-personnel weapons, as the Marksman is intended to flank and engage tanks and other Micro-Mechs. The unit also serves as pursuit unit.

Capabilities:
The Marksman is sightly faster than most combat Micro-Mechs currently in production. It needs this speed as it is not well armored. The pair of SRM-2's are fair against other light Micro-Mechs and light vehicles, but against medium vehicles and heavier Micro-Mechs, the best strategy is for the Marksman to attack the weakly armored rear of their targets.

Deployment:
The Marksman is fairly common in Freeman light units.
