PIG ABOUT TOWN
At the Fair
Ah Summertime! After a winter spent indoors, I'm out in my pen with my trees, my pool, and my hay. It's good to be a pig! We kicked off the summer with a great trip to the Pennsylvania Fair. Spent three hours on Mommy's lap driving down. She kept complaining her legs were turning blue - was that a crack about my weight?? It was great to see everyone and make more new friends. Stayed three nights in the posh Comfort Inn where we encountered:
MY FIRST ELEVATOR!!! Okay, so I squealed! You would too if you felt like you were leaving your pot-bellied belly on the first floor without you. I stayed calm on subsequent trips if Mommy put her arm around me. Each morning I had to rush rush rush Daddy back to the barn; did he really think I could go potty in the plush surroundings of our motel? The Fun Games were just that - fun, fun, fun (Bubbles, thanks to you Mommy is making me learn to dance with her); and congratulations to my old pal Priscilla and my new friend Sugar Ray on winning Best of Show. The highlight of the trip home was (of course) LUNCH! Mom and Dad had sandwiches while I enjoyed a salad, the three of us lined up on the front seat of our truck, attracting attention, as usual. When we arrived home I was glad to see my cats again. Traveling's fun, but there's just no place like home!
