DR. GEORGE RANDOLPH FOX, JR. (1863-1939)

This picture appeared in the Weekly News of Marksville, Louisiana - Avoyelles Heritage, August, 14, 1997. It was submitted by a granddaughter for an article by Carlos A. Mayeaux, Jr entitled "Moreauville Mayors". Dr. Fox was mayor from 1918-1920. He was the son of Dr. and Mrs. David R. Fox. He was married to Corinne Ann Coco, the daughter of Bienvenue Coco and Clara Bordelon Coco. After the flood of 1927, Dr. Fox moved to Algiers. He was born 1863, died 1939.
