“...Frank Barnhart gives a wonderful
performance.”
Playbill on Line
"One Edward 2' could earn star national
fame...Imaginatively staged and elegantly designed,
Barnhart's fluid adaptation of Christopher Marlowe's
Edward II brims with style, beauty and gay attitude."
Michael Grossberg
The Columbus Dispatch
"When all is said and done, the loneliness, the pain of
the characters, and indeed the violence of the times,
both early and modern, are very movingly depicted...and
we cringe at a society in thrall to its violent prejudices
against homosexuality."
Craig McVay
The Columbus Times
"Barnhart is a true innovator...the solo performance is a
marvelous 65-minute marathon of impassioned acting
and expressive dance."
Doug Hoehn
Columbus Alive
"One Edward II is a fascinating concept...the production
is creative in its use of movement, music, sound effects
and props.
