This all new muffler made by Cintrage LEV-FAB of Ste-Adele, Quebec is of round configuration the same as the OEM Vanagon muffler and it will fit both 1.9 and 2.1 engined Vanagons using the OEM support brackets or using the LEV-FAB Stainless Steel brackets, 2.1 versions pictured above or a 1.9 bracket now under construction. The muffler is made from quality Stainless Steel throughout. The interior is a performance design without baffles, sound absorption is made using Stainless Steel wool in between the outer shell and an inner perforated shell. The tail pipe in integral to the muffler. The mounting flange is of the loose style using a doughnut gasket. This muffler is sold with or without brackets depending on your particular needs. Complete 1.9 and 2.1 Stainless Steel systems are available and are listed below.

J-Pipes for 1.9 & 2.1

Stainless Steel J-pipes for all Vanagons with 1.9 & 2.1 litre waterboxer engines made by either Cintube Ltd. of Lachine, Quebec or LEV-FAB. The J-pipe is the pipe between the CAT and the two header pipes on the 1.9 and the cast iron collector piece on the 2.1. The CINTUBE J-pipe for the 1.9 is made the same as the OEM version. The CINTUBE J- pipe for the 2.1 is made with two loose flanges that allow the use of doughnut style gaskets thereby giving infinite adjustment at either end connection and less stress at the connection. The pipe is made from 14 ga 409 stainless and its flanges are made from 304 stainless. These J-pipes are supplied with a complete installation kit which includes gaskets and stainless steel bolts and nuts.
