I am now the exclusive Canadian dealer for the PROPEX Propane heaters for your camper. I do have one of the HS2000 models in stock as a demonstrator and will bring it to all VW events that I attend. Propex HS2000 installed in my '87 Westy
Snuggled in beside the water tank in the closet next to the fridge. Very little previous storage space is lost in this installation. Using the existing hole in the cabinet front where the circuit breaker was located orients the placement of the heat vent and therefore the location of the heater. The circuit breaker is then relocated into the cabinet wall as seen in the fourth picture below. This position does not require any rewiring of the circuit breaker box. Thermostat control is mounted on the upper side of the rear closet as seen in picture seven. Intake and exhaust vents exit through the floor just to the rear of the propane tank. Propane supply can easily be connected to the existing tank or as in this case a second propane tank that was previously installed on the right hand side was used for the supply. Fits and works like a charm. A great permanent reliable heat source for those cold campouts.
