FRIDAY the 2nd -
5pm to 5:30pm - Arrive at Huizenga Plaza/Bubier Park (address, map, & directions in the links below) and arrange all of the Deloreans in place around the amphitheater movie screen "drive-in" style before going just next door on the Riverwalk to the Meet & Greet Party with Jeffrey Weissman at the Briny Irish Pub (cars will be looked after while we are gone.)
5:30pm to 7:30pm - Meet and spend some time privately chatting over cocktails and or dinner with Jeffrey Weissman and your fellow Delorean owners and enthusiasts (full food & bar menu available to order if you wish at your own expense, they are supposed to also put out a simple complimentary snack buffet setting for us as well) before returning to the amphitheater and the cars for the Back To The Future film screening.
7:30pm to 10pm - Back To The Future film screening. You will want to be on time for this, as Jeffrey will be doing a presentation before the actual film starts, and we plan to do something special to bring Jeffrey onto the scene, so keep your cameras ready!
SATURDAY the 3rd -
10am to 11am - Arrival and positioning of cars for the Main Car Show, also at Huizenga Plaza/Bubier Park, which opens to the public at 11am Please come as early as you can as late arrivals may disrupt the show for others, but if you MUST come late, we'll still do our best to get your car into place with the others.
11am to 4pm - Show is open to the public, enjoy showing off for the day!
4pm to 6pm - Break time between end of show and beginning of Awards Dinner to allow for breakdown & setup, and for anyone who needs to do so to stop at home or at the hotel to freshen up and/or change clothes before the Awards Dinner.
6pm to 10pm - Awards Dinner is held in the Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum (address, map, & directions in the links below), with plenty of time to look over the museum's collection, and a "down home" chicken & ribs buffet dinner from one of Fort Lauderdale's best barbeque places provided for your enjoyment.
SUNDAY the 4th -
10am to 12pm - Driving Tour & Road Rally, heading northward at a leisurely pace up the scenic beachfront, and then back southward at a faster pace on the Interstates. The Driving Tour will be starting from our hotel, the Tropi Rock Resort (address, map, & directions in the links below), and will be finishing just a few blocks off the expressway at the location of our Farewell Brunch Buffet. A printed map & directions will be provided to each driver participating.
12pm to 2pm - Our Farewell Brunch Buffet at the Dragon Gourmet Buffet just off of I-595 on University Drive (address, map, & directions in the links below), where you can enjoy a last chance to share some time chatting with Jeffrey and your fellow Delorean owners & enthusiasts over a delicious all-you-can-eat Asian & American buffet, before heading home.
