Alister Taig has mentioned that he will bring his hydrofoil sailboat or at least parts. on fri and or saturday.

How do we get to the watertower? And When?

From the north, east or west, (from interstate 80/90) you go south on  Indiana 19 for a few miles. Follow the gantrys and road signs.  19 will start as Cassopolis, then you will turn right (west ; staying on 19) on Bristol St. North Side Middleschool. will be on the right caddycorner. Take Bristol for a mile or two (thru three stoplites) till it curves to the south and becomes Napanee St. take Napanee south past the car dealers and over the tracks. After a quarter mile or so look up to the left and you should see the watertower; that's where we will be. After going thru three stoplights the last one being where 20 curves to the west. Go STRAIGHT (Don't curve to the west again!) thru, staying on 19. Go a block or two, look for Fulton St. Take a left . If you go under the footbridge, you 've gone too far. You should hug the parking lot of  a Kroger grocery store. In the back of that store is Haydon. Proceed till the first intersection you get to :West St, take a left, and park either on the first or second left. Bower St, or Cedar St. Please be considerate for the residences if you park on Cedar.

From the south, say from 31, take that to South Bend, take US 20 east, get off at the first Elkhart exit. Indiana 19. go up 19 for 6 or so miles. go under the underpass; you've got two miles to go. Go over the river, and watch for a footbridge between two schools, one on either side. As soon as you get under that bridge,  loog a block or two for Fulton St. Right behind the grocery store is Haydon Park. Go to the next corner: West St. turn left (north). Take either of the next two lefts Bower St, or Cedar St. Please be considerate for the residences if you park on Cedar.

We will be setting up all day Fri. Registeration will become more active starting 6:30 or 7:00 PM between the watertower and the pond.and end for friday at 8:00

You are welcome to come earlier and help us set up.

Late regestration ends at 9:00

Sprints start at (tenative for now) 8:00, run till 10:00 or after everyone's happy. There are unlimited sprint runs  during this time.

The slalom will be late morning, followed by a lunch break.

Static thrust will be ran early afternoon, with the criterium around 4:00. These may be switched.

Early evening (after course breakdown): some kind of dinner and/or awards presentation.

Meet 8:30 meet at the Six Span put in . Meeting, map distribution, Race at 9:00

It wouldn't hurt to study St Joe map above; the main thrust of the meeting will be to show where those shallow spots are.

Elkhart Campground: Showers, Pool, Snacks; 20 amp $16 per two in a tent per nite./ no power, same for $14/nite. Go NORTH from the Toll Road exit a block to county rd. 4. Turn rite (east) go thru first intersection (CR-9) then watch for sign. Is on rt (south) side of street.

Jake's place :  no charge, huge field, Let me know a week or so in advance. no shower, yes WC, cold water, and power as needed (up to 220 amp/ 220  : sill work on threephase :)     )

The rowboat piers will NOT be installed for the St. Joe run. Martins landing has a nice new sewall though which should work just fine
