UFO 5: Leir Defines Implant Findings

September 19, 1996, Carpinteria, Ca.

Some of the findings on the alien implant analyses have been released and are on the Internet! I got a copy of the report and was dismayed to find it written in scientific technical jargon, for scientists, not we mere mortals.

I put in a call to Dr. Roger Leir, the surgeon who removed the alien implants from the abductees, and asked him for a simplification of the technical report issued recently by New Mexico Tech. on the outcome of metallurgical tests they ran on two metal rods from one of the implants. He also commented on how the tests were set up.

RL: "Basically, we contracted with the National Institute of Discovery Science in Nevada, headed by Bob Bigelow, and we made a presentation there to a board of sixteen of the finest scientists in the nation. They agreed to fund, in part, the analysis of the samples taken from abductees. The metallurgical specimens were turned over to them, and they sent them out for initial elemental analysis. We got a report back some months ago that was so complex and astounding, it was like a book, that was done at a nationally famous laboratory which I am still not at liberty to identify yet. They recommended, at the end of this report, that further testing should be done."

We had supplied NIDS with a set of standards, which we had obtained from NASA, on the metallurgy of off world materials. The samples were then sent to New Mexico Tech. for the new tests. Again, we got a large amount of raw data that came back with no interpretation. That didn't set too well with Dr. Bigelow, and we were no more knowledgeable, because of the lack of interpretation."

"Everything came to a stop. There were people on the NIDS Board who were metallurgists, and Bigelow was going to have them issue an interpretation of the data, but they changed their mind. Instead, they recommended that the labs that did the analyses, should also render the interpretation of their findings. So, everything stopped again while all the contracts were rewritten, not only with New Mexico Tech., but the other labs doing backup and other testing, stating they were responsible for issuing the interpretation of their findings. Finally, New Mexico Tech. generated an opinion letter, and that is what we have, today; what appeared over the weekend on the Net: some of the raw data, what was done, and the opinion letter."

"The two objects (metal rods), composed of numerous elements, laid down in a very strange fashion: for example there is an iron core on one of them harder than the finest carbon steel. It is wrapped in a layer of complex elements in compounds. The lab divided the rods into three sections: A, B, and C, and took photo micrographs with an electron microscope and enlarged them. They talk about each section separately, so when you look at the report it is a little confusing, unless you know what's going on."

RL:"The opinion letter stated two theories: One, because of the composition and the way this thing was put together - one rod being magnetic, and the other rod being magneto-conductive, the lab concluded that these objects came from meteorites.

"This was a double blind study. The lab had no idea whether the samples came from the sea, or a forest, or fell from heaven. By saying the samples came from meteorites, obviously meteorites are not generated here on Earth, they originated somewhere else! It is the same as saying they are extraterrestrial. Then, at the end of the paragraph the lab states that the Nickel/iron ratio is not the same as you find in meteorites, and justify that statement by saying, perhaps its only a sliver of a meteorite. Therefore, they don't have enough to really determine the Nickel/Iron ratio."

"So, we called them up and told them they were doing a 'bang up Job' . . . but we do have to tell you something . . . the samples came out of a human body! 'Ohhhh!', the lab said. 'Back to the drawing board!' So, in the report that was out on the Net, there is a second paragraph that theorizes that these samples could come from the human body . . . but we all know it didn't work that way! And , the person who is giving this human body theory is not a biologist, he is a metallurgist. So even the conclusion is all wrong."

"We know we have something extraterrestrial, which came out of a human body, and that is where it stands at the moment. We've ordered two more tests: one is an isotopic ratio, and the other is an aging. The isotopic ratio will show if the abundant elements, themselves, are either on-world or off -world. The aging, will tell us how old the metal samples are.

Don: "I thought the plan was to gather all the data and opinions from all the labs working on the project, and then your group, FIRST, and Ventura / Santa Barbara MUFON, etc. would release all the findings."

RL: "That is exactly correct. But there has been such a public clammer for information that we gave New Mexico Tech. permission to release something ... and that's all that's been released!

Don: "Are you happy with the results?"

RL: "We are tickled to death! Because what we have here, after these two sets of tests are done, is a win-win, situation. If the elements are like meteorite specimens - the way the compounds are put together, that's other-world. If the isotopic ratios show that these elements are on-world elements, then who put them together on Earth? If you can't put it together, what difference does it make? But, the icing on the cake would be to find that the isotopic ratios show the specimens compound elements were not from Earth, either! Bear in mind, this is only a smattering of the evidence that we have! "

It is most important to note that these tests and opinions were not conducted by the government, or "shadow government", but by a private organization. It is just the tip of a body of evidence that will prove that we are being visited and studied by visitors from other solar systems.
