A talented music director for WB until the best of them all, the legenadary Carl W.Stalling
(1888-1972), the late Bernard Brown alternated with Frank Marsales,
bandleaders Gus Arnheim (1897-1955) and Abe Lyman (1892-1957),and Norm Spencer
Bernard was also a voice by his own admission,for Warner's Buddy when
Jack Carr (q.v.) wasn't doing it.
His credits as music director were,amongst others:
"I wanna Play House"((c)January 11,1936,first rhee color and circle/bulleye WB cartoon/Friz Freleng,credited as I.Freleng)
"Plane Dippy"(April 1936,black and white,Tex Avery,credited as Fred Avery)
Was with Warner Bros. from 1933 to 1936,about same time as Norm Spencer,he other director,who became notorious for refusing to hire Mel Blanc(!)(was also hiring agent-referring to Mr.Spencer-he also was reportedly drunk.)
Musiclal,yhe seemd quit esimilair to Norman Spencer,BTW.
