Bernice Hansen
Bernice Hansen
This lady seemed to exist only to provide voices in cartoons of the 1930s and 1940s,because,as researcher Hames Ware (Funnyworld ,sadly discontinued last decade:(1983 and Animato since 1994) has pointed out,she has not been known even to be in shorts or movies.
Walter Lantz might have used her as Andy Panda at one time.
Incorrectly thought to be the voice of Chuck Jones's little mouse Sniffles (1938-1944).
Bernice Hansen seems to have done for Disney,Walter Lantz,MGM,Columbia and Warner Bros/Leon Schlesinmger ,before the in-house take-over in 1944 of WB in factr, little cute voices and some others.
She often lisped "Mary had a little lamb" and such in Merrie Melodies at WB,and did more cute animals than anybody can count.
