Encounter - GORILLA SWEEP !

New York’s GORILLA SWEEP has finally released their long overdue debut CD, Acquisition. Since its release in October ‘97 GORILLA SWEEP has been performing in New York City, Queens, and Long Island. They have received very favorable reviews thus far from various music trade publications and are awaiting several more from other magazines and music papers.

With the help of GORILLA SWEEP ENTERTAINMENT:


• Arula Records, a new and supportive progressive rock label, has decided to include GORILLA SWEEP in their 1998 catalog.

• WBAB (102.3 FM, NY) has featured two (2) tracks from the CD.

• WDIY 88.1 FM and WMUH 91.7 FM (Allentown, PA) have been featuring various tracks from Acquisition on their cutting edge rock show.

•The band has been asked to be on three (3) reputable compilation CD’s for industry distribution.

•WLIR 92.7 FM (NY) has also supported the band with their half hour show featuring local artists.

•WRCN 103.9 FM (NY - East End) has picked up on GORILLA SWEEP and started to showcase the CD on the air.

•GORILLA SWEEP’s Acquisition has been and continues to be advertised on WXRK (K-ROCK) 92.3 FM (NYC).
