My Rieke ancestry has enough documented roots in other families
to defeat any attempt at making it look coherent on a web page!
The information here was gleaned from church records long ago by my distant
cousin, David Koss, another Rieke descendant.
The additional ancestral names (for which I have small but informative charts)
are towards the end of the page. As always, if you see any connections
here, please write!

The Rieke men were world travelers, all but Christopher having
gone to Australia for a few years. Christopher & his sisters all came
to Barrington, Illinois, as did the rest of the brothers, finally.
Christopher eventually moved to Blairstown, Iowa. Ernest & his wife
spent quite a few years in Chester, Nebraska.
