As a side note, notice Shakespeare in the heap. How can this
be? Shakespeare was brilliant. Actually, he wasn't so
brilliant. At least 50% of the writings credited to
Shakespeare are utter rubbish. Only less than 10% of his
writings, especially the two-five line soliloquies are
brilliant, mind-dazzlingly creative, extremely meaningful,
inspirational and artistic writings. There is an extremely
vast difference between the two writing styles. The early
rumor is in fact that the writings of Shakespeare were written
by more than one person - perhaps even a team of writers.
There's much controversy. Historians even debate on the
spelling of Shakespeare.
It was well-publicized that Shakespeare stole major plots from
other writers. This was likely William's major contribution!
Sir Francis Bacon was alleged to be the real Shakespeare. This
makes some sense since he ranks higher than William, but this
doesn't explain who was responsible for the best 10%.
According to WISE, Francis Bacon is not ranked high enough to
be the "great" author either.
Those who rate low are not necessarily bad people. The
opposite can be true as some of the nicest people rate low. A
low rated person is handicapped to some degree, but life
itself treats low raters badly. They have to struggle more to
achieve the same results as others. His life is often
complicated with all kinds of self-inflicted problems. The
problem is that some low raters go to the nth degree in the
wrong directions.
