If mailing lists are new to you, then please pay attention closely. They can be lots of fun!
Mailing lists are an interactive way to join an online discussion group. They usually have a specific topic, and members email to a central address and the email is automatically disbursed to the various members. They are helpful ways to learn more, share info, and fellowship with other collectors.
Here is a selection of glass-related mailing lists that you may wish to join:
All Glass ware:
A list for people who collect glass ware

antique_glass:
This is a group for people that are interested in collecting old or antique glass. Our members include fans of Depression Glass, Art Glass, Early American Pattern Glass, and those who are just getting started and don't even have a particular period in mind, but just like glass!
We discuss where to find glass (flea markets, shows, etc. are posted in our calendar), what patterns we collect (pictures are posted) and ways to learn more about our own collections (we keep a store of bookmarks/links to other glass sites and museums). Come on in! We'd love to have you add to our growing members!

artglass:
A mailing list dedicated to discussing Fenton glass, Carnival glass, Depression glass, all types of art glass. Anyone who is interested in this type of glass is welcome to join and chat with us, but please do not use this list as a Classifieds...
