Sorry I've not written for a while. I had passed your address on to Susan Armitage who writes our newsletter, but she is pregnant, so I guess she's pre-occupied right now. [EDITOR'S NOTE: PLEASE PASS OUR CONGRATULATIONS ON TO SUSAN, DAPHNE]

We joined the County Hospital tent again for another trip to Ulverston and the [L&H] Museum. It rained very hard and wasn't as good a trip as it could have been had the weather been better.

The Grand Sheik, Dave, has done the Great North Run once again. 41,000 of them setting off, just like Lemmings pouring along the road. He collected £680 for our local toddlers play group. We're getting it presented at our next L&H meeting so we should get more advertising for the tent at the same time. I'll send you a photo.
