International *Write Something* Month

November is International "Write Something" Month. It doesn't have to be a novel; join us in banging out 200-250 words a day (average) without any regard for quality or saleability. Anyone can write bad short fiction* for fun.

Remember: IWriSloMo!

IWriSloMo has a blog at http://iwrislomo.blogspot.com/

(*bad, short, and fiction are all optional)

Update: Tuesday, November 4, 2003

IWriSloMo now has a LiveJournal community. At the moment it's open membership and unmoderated. I'm inclined to leave it that way unless problems arise. You can find it at: http://www.livejournal.com/community/iwrislomo

Update: Monday, October 27, 2003

In honor of our inspiration, NaNoWriMo, we'll again set specific daily writing goals for the month of November and do our level best to hold to them.

BTW, although the blog looks moribund, our email list is thriving. The list is "closed" which means you have to contact us if you want to subscribe, but we haven't turned away anyone yet.

To join, contact one of the list administrators: Manny Olds or Gwynedd. You can find Manny's address in the blog's archived entry from October 21, 2002. Gwynedd's is Gwynedd at aol dot com.
