This Guinea Pig Foster Home Contract (hereinafter referred to as "Contract") is entered into by and between the above listed Foster Home (hereinafter referred to as "Foster Home") and the above listed Adoption Agency (hereinafter referred to as "Agency") concerning the fostering of the above described guinea pig (hereinafter referred to as "animal").

Foster Home and Agency agree as follows:

Foster Home agrees that Foster Home:
(1) will care for the animal in the most humane manner;
(2) will keep the animal in Foster Home’s own home until the animal is returned to Agency;
(3) will promptly notify Agency if the animal has an ailment, injury, or illness;
(4) will not allow the animal to breed, be used for vivisection, nor in any inhumane way;
(5) will not abandon, sell, give away, dispose of, turn over to or relinquish custody or possession of the animal except to return the animal to Agency;
(6) UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT FOSTERING THIS ANIMAL DOES NOT GIVE PERMANENT OWNERSHIP RIGHTS TO FOSTER HOME, and will return the animal promptly to Agency upon request.

Foster Home further agrees that if, for any reason, Foster Home does not wish to continue to foster the animal or if Foster Home cannot abide by all of the terms of this Contract, that Foster Home will promptly return the animal to Agency.

Agency shall have the right to inspect the animal at any reasonable time with reasonable notice.

Agency agrees that Agency:
(1) will accept the animal back promptly, should the animal be returned for any reason;
(2) will provide necessary equipment for the animal while animal is fostered by Foster Home;
(3) will obtain and pay for reasonable veterinary care if notified by Foster Home in advance that such is needed for the animal.
