Introduction

I'm a freelance writer and reviewer, proud to say I've been published in A3D.com's First Reflections, Blender, Blitz, Critics' Choice (on America Online, Keyword: Critic), Digital Diner, Flux, GameDaily.com, GamePro, Hit Parader,  NBA Inside Stuff, RZone, Slam, Toy Fare, Time Out New York, Toy Fare, Video Games Forum (on America Online, Keyword: Video Games) and VideoGameSpot. These are my GamePro caricatures of Boba Fatt, courtesy of artist Francis Mao.

The following is a fairly complete archive of my video game reviews through the fall of 2000, at which point everything got too hectic to keep up with.  Keep in mind these reviews are dated, so '99 sports games are, of course, not compared to '00's. Also, I don't take requests: I review what I'm assigned or what I can sell to my editors. The titles without links are completed reviews that haven't been published yet.  I give my reviews (and articles) lead time so they're fresh in print.

I'm often asked how to be become a professional video game reviewer, and unfortunately, I don't have the magic dust to instantly help.  But I do have a How-To guide here, and I'm working on a FAQ based on questions I've received from my web page. And, if you haven't already seen it, make sure to check out my main video games page, with my top three games of all time, my favorite games by platform, emulator information, links and, if nothing else, a Pac-Man motif.
