We are located in Parkville, MO, which is the North Kansas City area. INTHEWIND Cattery offers both pure Persians and pointed Persians or Himalayans. Our cats are sweet, happy and healthy. We have been raising and showing our cats since 1990. We finished our first Persian grand champion March of 1991. Since then we have bred and or finished 46 Grand Champions and Premiers. 21 of them have been Best Cat in show. Twelve of our kittens have been Best Kitten in Show. We have several more that are pointed and on the way to finishing. These include six Regional Winners. Two have been National Color Winners in the Persian breed. The Himalayans have been Nationally ranked within the breed as have the Color Point Carriers.

The Persian lines I am currently working with include Boberan, Shan-Anne, Jadon, Fox Hara (Marhei), BudMar (Hugsalot, Bolo). The Himalayan lines I am working with are Demiara, Jolee, Oakheaven, Tanglebox, Dragonfyre. We produce black, blues, cream, white, tortie, blue-cream, and occasional reds. Himalayan colors include seal-point, blue-point, tortie-point, blue-cream point, flame-point. We now have lynx-points .

Our goal is to produce healthy genetically sound cats. We do scan for PKD. We strive to produce happy cats that are good pets as well as enjoy showing themselves off or on the show bench.

At this time we are reducing numbers and have several adults we would like to place in loving pet homes. Please inquire if interested. Many are retired Grand Champions. They are spayed or neutered for different reasons and not necessarily older age.
