GIL GRISSOMThe lead forensic scientist of the 'graveyard' shift of the Crime Scene Investigation Unit. He'd much rather be Cuisinarting maggots to unearth evidence than doing paperwork and dealing with office politics. He's devoted to finding the truth, and delights in using the latest scientific methods - as well as old-fashioned ingenuity - to solve the crime. |
CATHERINE WILLOWSSingle mother, former Vegas dancer, and now a dedicated Crime Scene Investigator. She's as passionate about her job as Grissom is about his bugs, and tries to balance her work with raising her young daughter. |
WARRICK BROWNHe's great at his job as a Crime Scene Investigator but almost let an affinity for gambling ruin his career. Fortunately, Grissom has a lot of faith in him. Warrick's in a constant but friendly competition with Nick to solve cases. |
NICK STOKESA self-professed ladies man. He's got a killer smile, a disarming demeanor and a definite love of video games. Although recently promoted to a Level 3 investigator, he's still learning. |
SARA SIDLEShe loves cases that deal with bones. Her outspoken attitude can leave a wake of bruised feelings, and she's let her personal feelings interfere with the job on at least one occasion. However, she's trusted by Grissom with some of the more delicate work in the department. |
JIM BRASSFormerly head of the CSI graveyard shift, this career cop now works as a captain in Homicide. His brusque manner has at times been officious and caused friction between departments. He works closely with the CSI unit as homicide and forensic science go hand in hand to solve the case. |
GREG SANDERSOff-the-wall lab technician. |
DR.
ROBBINSCoroner at the police station. |
SHERIFF MOBLEYSheriff of the Las Vegas Police Department, and a definite thorn in Grissom's side. |
SGT. O'RILEYDependable homicide detective. |
