Materials:
* A little over half of one 1 3/4oz skein of Coats & Clark Red Heart baby yarn in the color Baby Blue
* Size G crochet hook

Size is 18 1/4w x 9 1/2 h

For a girl`s size of 14 1/4" wide work 18 rows of pattern; then jump to row 23. Chain 56 for ties.
20 rows will give you a width of 16 1/4".

1: Ch 4; work 2 dc in 4th ch from hook. Ch 3, turn. Turning chains count as a stitch.

2: Work 2 dc in same st as turning ch, ch 1; skip next 2 dc and work 3 dc in top of last st. Ch 3, turn.

3: Work 2 dc in same st, ch 1; 3 dc in next ch 1 sp; ch 1, skip next 2 dc and work 3 dc in last st. Ch 3, turn.

4: 2 dc in same st; ch 1; (3 dc in next ch 1 sp, ch 1) across to last 3 dc. Work 3 dc in last st.
Ch 3, turn.

5-22: Repeat row 4.

23: Ch 66, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; sl st in same st as beginning of chain. (1st tie made) Sc in each dc and in each ch sp across top of triangle. Ch 66, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, sl st in to same sp as beginning of ch. (2nd tie)
Sc in edge of the dc in the last row next to the sl st you just made. ** In top of the dc of the next row down work tc-3dc-tc; sc in top of dc in next row down.**
Repeat from ** to ** down edge of triangle ending with a sc in the tip of the triangle. Repeat from ** to ** up next edge ending with a sl st in the edge of the top row. Fasten off and weave in loose ends.
