Box Stitch Headband

Just a little headband to whip up fast. Use up leftover yarn!

Make them in solid colors or work row 2 in a contrasting

color.

Materials:

* small amount of worsted wt. yarn

*Size G crochet hook for size small/medium

*Size H crochet hook for size large

Ch 72. Being careful not to twist join with a sl st to 1st ch.

1: Ch 1, sc in same sp. Ch 3, (skip 3 ch, sc in next ch, ch 3)

   around. Join with a sl st to first sc.

2: Sl st into next ch3 space. Ch 3, 2dc in same space. Ch1,

  (work 3dc in next ch3 sp, ch1) around. Join with a sl st in

  top of beginning ch3.

3: Sl st across next 2 dc and into ch1 sp. Ch 4, (sc in next ch1

  sp, ch3) across. Join with sl st in 1st ch of beginning ch4.

Fasten off.
