Grammy`s Star in V-stitch

Materials:

Size 5 steel crochet hook

Size 10 cotton crochet thread

Size: 3” wide

Vst: dc-ch1-dc in same space or stitch

Ch 5; join with a sl st to form a ring.

1: Ch 4, dc in ring; ch 2; (Vst-ch2) 4 times. Join with a sl st in

     3^rd ch of beginning ch 4.

2: Sl st across and into ch 2 space. Ch 4; dc-ch2-Vst in same space;

     ch 1; *(Vst-ch2-Vst) in next ch 2 space; ch 1. Repeat from *

     3 times more. Join with a sl st in 3^rd ch of beginning ch 4.

3: Sl st across and into ch 2 space; ch 4-tc-ch2-tc-ch1-dc in same space.

    Ch 3; sc in next ch 1 space; ch 3; *(dc-ch1-tc-ch2-tc-ch1-dc) in next

    Ch 2 space; ch 3, sc in next ch 1 space, ch 3. Repeat from * 3 times

    more. Join with a sl st in 3^rd ch of beginning ch 4.

4: Sl st into ch 2 space. Ch 4-tc-ch2-tc-ch1-dc in same space; ch 6,

    sc in next sc, ch 6; *(dc-ch1-tc-ch2-tc-ch1-dc) in next ch 2 space;

    ch 6, sc in next sc, ch 6. Repeat from * around. Join with a sl st in

    3^rd ch of beginning ch 4. Fasten off.

Alternate row 4: Sl st into ch 2 space. (Ch 3-dc-tc-ch2-tc-2dc) in

    same space; ch 6, sc in next sc, ch 6; *(2dc-tc-ch2-tc-2dc) in next

    ch 2 space; ch 6, sc in next sc, ch 6; repeat from * around. Join

    with a sl st in top of beginning ch 3. Fasten off.
